Children's pocket money gets spent on what they choose. Our sales show that they like small toys and they notice value for money.
On the other hand, Pocket Money fell last year for the fourth year running. There's a bit less to go round, and that makes Playwrite's Quality & Value even more important. The trade has had enough of the "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" TV advertised toys selling at hugely inflated prices, being undercut at every turn by the majors and then pushed out in "Fire Sales. We don't sell that sort of stuff, it's poor value for the trade, and poor value for the children.
Let's hear it for smaller, sensibly priced toys. Crayons, Modelling Clay, Stickers and small fun stuff, Party Bags and Paint Sets, and all the other great toys, traditional & modern, that you can find on this site! We have the right stuff! The toys that children choose!
