95 years ago, Con Cornelius understood Trading, and Manufacturing of Toys was his special talent. Christmas Crackers had been popularised in the reign of Queen Victoria, and he started by selling Toys for Christmas Crackers. Con could create the toys, but he needed to show them to his customers.
First in the Door, First to Sell Con was travelling the length and breadth of Europe, and was soon to venture further, much further East, to Japan and China, travelling outward by boat, and back on the Trans Siberian Railway. Con was the first in the Toy Trade to travel so far to find the novelties his customers wanted, and he brought back toys, gifts and innovations at prices that gave great value.
Come forward 95 years. You can now see our products just hours after they have arrived from thousands of miles away. You don’t even need to do it in office hours!
