Terms of Trade
All goods are supplied subject to the terms of trade of The Playwrite Group Ltd. Please note the following points.
Product Information
All Prices and Charges advertised exclude VAT where applicable, and of necessity may be amended without prior notification.
Products are offered subject to availability.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information is correct. However, we reserve the right to amend pack sizes, colours, specifications and prices where we deem it necessary, without prior notice.
In most cases Delivery is FREE of charge.
For all UK mainland and Northern Ireland orders, unless specified otherwise we aim to despatch on an overnight courier within 3 days of receipt of order, but this is not guaranteed.
Charges are made for specific delivery requirements.
- Next Day Deliveries - £15.00 (NOTE: For Next Day Delivery orders must be placed before 09:30am. We will do our utmost, but because we are dependent on external conditions, Next Day delivery cannot be guaranteed and unfulfilled charges for Next Day delivery will be refunded.)
- A Carriage Charge of £4.99 + VAT (£5.99 inc VAT) will apply to all orders under £100 for U.K mainland and Northern Ireland addresses.
For Isle of Man and Ireland addresses the minimum order value we can work with is £250, for which delivery is made carriage paid.
For Exports and Channel Islands the minimum order value we can work with is £100, and deliveries will be carriage paid to your shipping agent or haulier in the UK.
For other UK offshore addresses and Scottish Highlands deliveries carry a 5% of order value charge and if under £100 an additional £4.99 + VAT (£5.99 inc VAT) carriage charge.
All consignments are checked at our warehouse before despatch. Deliveries must be checked and signed for. Any shortage from, or damage to cartons must be noted on the carriers delivery sheet when the goods are signed for. Signatures with the remark "Unexamined" are of course not acceptable. Claims for damage or pilferage must be made in writing within 3 days of the date of the invoice and for non-delivery or short delivery, within 7 days of the date on our despatch note or invoice.
Ordering & Payment
Order Values: There is NO MINIMUM ORDER VALUE. Orders over £100 excluding VAT will be delivered carriage paid to most U.K mainland destinations (see "Delivery" above).
Payments can be made by credit/debit card or cheque which must be cleared by our bank before goods can be despatched.
All goods remain the property of The Playwrite Group Ltd until payment for all goods under all contracts has been received in full. The responsibility to safeguard the goods, keep them in saleable condition and protect them against loss, damage or destruction will pass to the buyer upon delivery.
